Distance matters too — a zombie far off in the street gives you breathing room to line up a headshot, but the ones creeping in from the side are the real threat since panic makes people waste shots. Keep moving, keep your eyes scanning both flanks, and treat every bullet like it's the last one in the chamber, because eventually it might be. Some runs live or die on patience alone; rushing a shot just to clear a lane usually costs more than it saves.
